Hi KH!I went and applied at Hooters today! After talking for 10 min w/ the manager, he told me "it was great to meet you, i'll check your references & call you in a couple days to see what i can do for you"Is this positive?Thanks!
This is positive, but it is by no means a guarantee. Rejecting others is hard and many managers say things like this simply to be nice, even if they have no intention of hiring you. In addition, at the time of your interview there may have been a spot open, however, since then the Hooters Girl who was leaving may have changed her plans and be staying after all, another manager may have hired a different girl, or a more qualified candidate may have applied. As always, I recommend following up with an email, a phone, and/or another visit to the Hooters that you applied at if you do not hear anything.
