if you don't mind me asking, i was just curious about how much you make in tips working at hooters? I worked at a steak house and could make about 100 on a closing shift....im thinking about applying. Oh and about how many shifts a week is average?
I'm afraid this is a very difficult question to answer. What I make is vastly different from what another girl at the same restaurant makes and even more different than what I might make at a different location. That being said, I work at a Hooters that is fairly low traffic compared to most and in general I can expect to make at least $75 in tips per daytime shift as a server, with $100 being more standard. There is more to be made during game days, on Fridays and Saturdays, and on event days, where I and others make $150 or more quite easily. Keep in mind, this is done during a period of two to five hours with minimum sidework. Scheduling is quite flexible. Some work six days a week, others one. Most capable Hooters Girls can expect four or five shifts each week, if they want that many.
